There is no gliding roller door on this filthy, raw, fuzzed out garage rock. And front man Andy "California" Macbain doesn't look like the canoe partner that would provide "Deliverance" from the Chattooga River. A double take to the cover to see if the blonde fox is using clothes line wires for guitar strings. Come in , pull up a paint tin chair & enjoy! Under produced garage filth at its best, Let's ROCK! Feminist garage post punk. With titles like "Glue Sniffer", "Pissed" and title track, these are girls behaving badly. But there's also a 60s girl band sensitivity that ameliorates any potential offense with a harmony and melodic sense not normally found in this genre. And there's humour too, great album. agutterfan
Melbourne-based Slush's debut EP is filled with feminist, punky-pop tunes that make for an exciting introduction to their music. Bandcamp New & Notable May 10, 2019
